You’re in the right place.
You were referred to me through Royal Lamb for coaching and behavior change. I’m LaKeysha Cobbs-Hayes, though most people call me Coach Key. Here’s everything you need to get started.
LaKeysha Cobbs-Hayes, MAT, BCBA · Behavior Change Strategist

What we’ll work on
Coaching and behavior change. Specifically, the distance between what you already know and what you consistently do.
Follow-through
The thing you decided months ago and still haven't done. We find out why, then build around it.
Career and professional moves
Transitions, promotion readiness, authority, difficult professional decisions.
Business and leadership
Systems, delegation, accountability, difficult conversations, moving from operator to owner.
Boundaries and capacity
Overwhelm, priorities, protecting the time your actual life needs.
Identity and transition
Who you are becoming, and what makes the change stick when it stops feeling like you.
What this is, and what it isn’t
This is coaching and behavior change.
Strategic, practical, and focused on what you actually do next.
This is not therapy or clinical treatment.
I do not diagnose or treat any condition. If what you’re carrying needs clinical care, I will say so early, and Royal Lamb has licensed clinicians for exactly that.
I do not coordinate with your clinician.
If you are working with someone else at Royal Lamb, that stays separate unless you ask for it in writing and sign a release.
I hold a certification, not a clinical license for this work.
I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. The coaching I provide is not behavior-analytic services and is not delivered under that certification.
How this works
Complete the intake
The questionnaire below. Ten minutes. It means our first session starts on the actual problem instead of background.
Book your first session
You'll get a booking link by email once your intake is in.
We find the Gap
First session is diagnostic. We work out what is actually interfering, not what you assume is.
You go do something
Every session ends with one specific action. Then we look at what happened.
You know what to do.You’re not doing it.
You’ve known for months. Maybe years. And somewhere along the way you started believing the problem is you, that you’re just not disciplined enough.
Sound familiar
These are the sentences people say right before they book.
If you feel stuck
Personal
- I know exactly what I need to do and I'm not doing it.
- I start strong and lose it by week three. Every time.
- My life has looked the same for three years and I don't know how that happened.
- I keep waiting to feel ready and it never comes.
- I've read the books and made the plan. It's still sitting there.
- I'm tired of starting over.
If your business has plateaued
Owner
- Everything runs through me. If I stop working, the money stops.
- I've been at the same revenue for three years and I can't find the ceiling.
- My team agrees in the meeting and then nothing happens.
- I keep hiring people and then redoing their work myself.
- I'm the bottleneck in my own business and I know it.
- I've hired the coaches and still didn't implement.
Behavior follows conditions, not willpower.
When your environment makes the wrong thing easier than the right thing, you lose that fight every time, no matter how badly you want it. That’s not a character flaw. That’s how behavior works, and it’s measurable.
So we stop working on wanting it more and start rebuilding the conditions.
One hour. Three things happen.
Step 1
We map your real week
Not your ideal week. The actual one, with the interruptions, the fatigue, and the things that keep winning your attention.
Step 2
We find the stuck point
There is a specific place the behavior stops every time. Most people have never located it, which is why the same plan keeps failing the same way.
Step 3
We change one condition
You leave with the first structural change to make, and a clear reason why the last attempt didn't stick.
I don’t do pep talks.
I’m LaKeysha Cobbs-Hayes. Most people call me Coach Key. I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, which means I spent my career studying why people do what they do and, more usefully, what makes them stop.
I run a therapy practice with five locations across California and Georgia, so when I talk about payroll, hiring, and the weight of being the person everything depends on, it isn’t theory. I’ve also coached service-based owners to build and sustain seven-figure businesses.
What I’ve learned in both rooms is the same. People rarely fail because they stopped caring. They fail because nothing around them made the right behavior easier than the wrong one.
